Do you know this song?
Do you know a different "Hello Song"?
What are some other languages that you know how to say "hello" in?

@ Mr. Salsich and class,
Oli otya (oh-lee yo-tee-yah) to you too! What a fantastic song! Your voices sound beautiful and your piano accompanist is excellent! Who is playing? We will learn your song and then sing it as we do our walk on October 22. :-)
Mr. B. is coming tomorrow and we will be recording a song as well. Looking forward to our big day. We're enjoying learning about everyone through this project.

Dear Mr. Salsich ans Class,
My name is Jamie and I am in Mrs. Ranney's class in California. I didn't get to listen to the song. I'm sorry! I'm sure it was awesome! One of the "Hello" songs I know is the one by The Beatles. Another one is our music teacher Mr. B taught us one with nine different lanuages of how to say hello in each lanuage.
Do you know any other " Hello " songs?
If you do which is your favorite?
Best Wishes,
Jamie(Mrs. Ranney's student)
Dear Mr. Salsich and class,
Hello, my name is Ryan, and I am in Mrs. Yollis' class. I think that your "Hello" song was fabulous. Our music teacher Mr. B. also made up a "Hello" song. We sing hello in so many ways I can not remember them all! We made up a lot of hand motions. I noticed some great things about your singing:
*You sang loud and clear.
*You used the words "hello" and "hi" in the beganing and end.
*You always had a big smile on your face.
I have some questions.
Did Mr. Salsich make up the words for the song? What was your favorite part about the song?
From,
Ryan (Mrs. Yollis' student) ♠ :)
Dear Mr. Salsich's class,
I am in Mrs. Ranney's class. I go to Chaparral Elementary. I think your "hello" song is really neat. My grandma is from Chile. She says "hola" (o-la) which is Spanish for "hello." Who is your music teacher?
Warmly,
Mikayla
Dear Mr.Salsich and class,
I loved the 'Hello Song'.
You were very smart to make up a song.
When are you going to do the 'Walk a-thon'?

Dear Mr.Salsich and class,
I love your song! I have no idea how many languages I can say "hi" in.
I know a lot of languages because all of my grand parents are different nationalities. Plus my mom took Spanish and my dad took French.
How many languages can you say "hi" in?
Did your class make up this song by their self?

G'Day Mr Salsich and class,
I really enjoyed your song!
My favourite line was in Australia they say G'mate mate!
The song is a very catchy and I'm sure it will be in my head for a long time!
We learn indonesian at Leopold Primary School. The word hello in Indonesian depends on the time of day but good morning is selamat pagi. You say it like this "sla-mut pah-gee"
Sampai nanti (see you later),
Miss McGeady
@ Mr. Salsich's class,
That is a great hello song. I do not know the hello song or any other hello song, but I will try to learn the song you showed us. In Italy they say ciao and in mexico they also say hola.
Sincerely,
Jaden★
Dear Connecticut Friends,
I love your song! I know another hello song that we sing with our music teacher. It is similar to your song because it has the same idea of saying hello in different languages.
I know how to say hello in 4 languages: French-bonjour, Hebrew-shalom, Spanish-hola, and Luganden-oh-lee yo-tee-yah.
From,
Ella in California in Mrs. Ranney's class.
Dear Mr. Salsich and class,
I really liked the hello song. I know of another hello song but I have never heard yours.
I have a question:
Did you have fun making the hello video?

What an amazing comment! Mr. Salsich did not make up the words to the song. Our music teacher taught it to us. Her name is Ms. Young. Our favorite part of the song was singing "oli otya". We really liked your song that you sang in Swahali.

Hello everyone.
Does anyone know where you would say Shalom to say hello?
Dear Mr. Salsich and class,
Hello hello hello! My name is Iman, I am in Mrs. Y♥lli's class in California. Your voices never were to high or to low they were just right. We have our own little hello song song by our music teacher Mr. B.
Warmly,
Iman
@Sean
Thank you for the fabulous comment. Your music teacher Miss Young sounds very nice.
I have some questions for you.
Do you know how to say "hello" in any other languages besides the ones you said in your song?
What is your music teacher Miss Young like? Does she play any instruments?
What other songs have you learned in music?
Out of all the songs, which one do you like the best?
Your Friend,
Mikayla
Dear Mr. Salsich and class,
This is Hannah and Adia in Mrs. Yollis' class. We loved your video! Your voices are amazing and we love singing that song!
Now, it is stuck in our brains because we sang it so many times on the day of the walk.
We also know one more hello song that our music teacher, Mr. B. taught us. Not including the Chay Chay Koo Lay song that we posted on the Uganda Blog, we are willing to
also sing our Hello song.
Your blogging buddies,
Adia and Hannah ★
